This document presents a tabulation of the typical data that are used as input for fire calculations.  The first tabulation of data used in fire safety engineering was presented in the ISO/TR 13387 series of fire safety engineering technical reports published by ISO in 1999.  Each technical report that presented fire calculation methods for fire safety engineering included a list of input and output data required for and produced by those calculations.  The total data set was described as part of a global information bus (GIB), i.e., data used and exchanged between the fire calculation methods presented in the technical reports.  The goal of the global information bus was to provide an awareness of the interrelationships between fire evaluations when using ISO fire safety engineering standards.  The ISO/TR 13387 series technical reports have now been withdrawn by ISO as many of the technical reports have been superseded by other ISO international standards.  This document tabulates the data in the Global Information Bus used for fire calculations and supplements the document, “ISO Fire Safety Engineering Global Analysis and Information System,” available at this store.
