The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice.
Dr. Dey presently serves as an US expert in international efforts for standardization and regulatory cooperation to achieve sustainable and equitable development, including trade facilitation. He was a US expert and held leadership roles in developing international standards at ISO from 2011 to 2022, and now is also involved at UNECE standardization work for the SDGs.
Dr. Dey specializes on global and national governance for the implementation of the SDGs, including for a circular economy pursuant to SDG 12, Responsible consumption and production. He has published a report on conformity assessment in a circular economy based on research he conducted at ISO's committee on conformity assessment (CASCO).
